The Copilot Stack Editorial Team

Technical education and developer reference

About

The Copilot Stack editorial team researches, writes and reviews the GitHub Copilot Academy curriculum. Every version-sensitive claim is checked against GitHub's primary documentation before publication and re-checked on a fixed review interval, and the checks that can be automated run in the build rather than relying on anyone remembering.

This is an editorial team, not an individual. No named byline is attached to these pages, because inventing one would be the first unverified claim on a site whose whole argument is that its claims are checked. Where a verified individual contributes, they will appear here by name.

Areas of focus

Method

How technical claims on this site are researched, checked and corrected. The full account is in the testing methodology, the rules it must satisfy are in the editorial policy, and about this site covers why it exists and what it deliberately does not try to be.

  • Primary documentation is the source; secondary write-ups are not treated as evidence.
  • Every version-sensitive page carries its own review interval and fails the build once it lapses.
  • Command flags, model names, plan names, MCP keys, agent frontmatter and enterprise policy claims are each checked against structured data by a dedicated audit script.
  • Code and configuration are executed or validated where a runner exists; anything not executed is labelled.
  • Corrections are made in place with the verification date advanced, not quietly edited.
